Forging Club Grants

The Forging Foundation (FIERF) is excited to announce a new grant program funding organizations to start a forging club.

Awards are $5,000, given to organizations that are interested in starting or continuing Forging Clubs at their school. Awarded schools must commit to compete in FIERF’s Forging Competition in 2026 and start an official Forging Club at their school.

If your organization already has an established Forging Club, funds from the grant can be used to improve or expand on your forging capabilities.

Example of acceptable items to purchase when starting a Forging Club:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Anvils
• Tongs
• Hammers
• Gas or Induction Forges
• Raw Materials
• Any labor it takes to safely install your equipment.

Once an already funded club has been active for two years, you are eligible to reapply for another $5,000 to keep building momentum and strengthen your program.
