FIA hosted the first annual FIERF Golf Outing at Quail Hollow Country Club on September 1, 2021.  A total of 48 golfers gathered on 700 acres of wooded countryside in Concord, Ohio to participate in the fundraiser. The winning foursome included Matthew Natale, AML Industries; Dave Trzebiatowski, Milwaukee Forge; Nick Shirilla, Nucor Steel Memphis; and Kristain Barr, Bober Markey Fedorovich.  The team took the scramble tournament with a winning score of 59. In addition, prizes were awarded to Mike Yacavino, Howmet Aerospace for Longest Drive, and Jim Kravec, Weldaloy Specialty Forgings for the closest to the pin contest.

Congratulations to all of the winners!

In addition to the outing and golf contests, during the lunch reception, a raffle was held, and 5 lucky winners took home forged golf wedges provided by Trenton Forging Co.

Thank you to all who participated. Your generous contributions led to a total of $25,000 that will go directly to the Forging Foundation (FIERF) to support research and technology development in the forging supply chain.
