Small Project Research Grant
FIERF funds university and community college research that advances forging science and engages students.
The FIERF Board has implemented the use of a Small Project Grant to manage industry research projects less than $20,000 and one year in length. Industry participation in the form of industry representatives and/or partners is required at this funding level.
All proposals must:
- Include industry-relevant deliverables aligned with the 2022 Forging Industry Technology Roadmap
- Projects under $20,000 and ≤1 year
- Follow the Grant Policies and Procedures
- Be submitted to [email protected] by February 15, 2026
