Forging Day is October 9 - How Will You Celebrate?

Held annually on the second Friday in October, Forging Day is an opportunity to recognize the essential role forgings play in our economy, national defense, infrastructure, transportation, energy, agriculture and countless other critical sectors. It is also a chance to shine a spotlight on the people, companies and communities that keep this industry moving forward.

6 Ways Your Company Can Celebrate:

  • Share photos or videos from your facility on social media
  • Recognize your team
  • Submit a proclamation to your state or city to recognize Forging Day
  • Host a tour for local officials, students or community partners
  • Showcase what your forgings make possible
  • Post using the hashtag #ForgingDay to help amplify the message

Together, we can use Forging Day to tell the story of forging — an industry built on strength, skill, innovation and manufacturing excellence.
