FIERF Hosts Workforce Development Event at Cuyahoga Community College

Community Colleges are an excellent resource for finding skilled employees and upskilling current employees. The Forging Foundation brought together industry and academia on April 5th on the campus of Cuyahoga Community College to develop a collaborative action plan to feed the industry’s talent pipeline.

On March 21st FIA Members from ATI Forged Products, Charter Steel, Fox Valley Forge, Green Bay Drop Forge, Kropp Forge, Milwaukee Forge, Scot Forge and Walker Forge gathered for the FIERF Technology and Workforce Development Summit at Marquette University where they heard from professors, the department of Industry Relations and students participating in FIERF sponsored projects.
